Jiobit, a Chicago-based provider of hardware-enabled location tracking solutions, has released Jiobit Protect, a premium add-on to their award-winning Jiobit Location Monitor and Jiobit mobile app. Jiobit Protect includes two break-through security and safety features: SOS Mode and Alert Button.
For SOS Mode, Jiobit has partnered with Noonlight, the leader in real-time online emergency response, to create the first-of-its-kind always-on, location-aware, critical response service securely tied to the location of the Jiobit device. This service will allow 911 emergency responders to get the real-time location of the individual in danger, without the need for a cell phone.
SOS Mode is triggered by the caregiver when they detect—through assistance and notifications from the Jiobit mobile app—that their loved one is in danger, or could be. The caregiver is immediately put in contact with a trained Noonlight emergency dispatcher who facilitates the communication with 911 emergency services specific to the location and jurisdiction of the loved one wearing the Jiobit device. Precise location and emergency details such as description, height, allergies, and special needs are relayed securely from Jiobit to Noonlight, saving precious minutes in the event of an emergency.

SOS Mode gives children, aging seniors, individuals with special needs, and those who cannot operate a cell phone all the location benefits of exact location in the event of an emergency.
Also included in Jiobit Protect is Alert Button. Jiobit’s location monitor features a physical alert button and in-app alarm, which will allow users to notify their caregiver to their status. Click patterns, notifications, and who receives the messages are all customizable in the Jiobit mobile app.
